Program Faculty

Core Faculty Master's in Counseling

The Core faculty of the Master's in Science (MS) Counseling Program in the Department of Educational Psychology are from the School Psychology, School Counseling, and Marriage and Family Therapy programs. Our faculty possess expertise in various areas, including strength-based intervention, social-emotional and cognitive behavioral intervention and assessment, assessment of learning and nonverbal disabilities, child therapy, consultation, counseling theories, law & ethics, and multicultural training.

Our core School Psychology faculty members are trained as researchers, school psychologists and/or licensed clinical psychologists. They bring real-life experiences from their work in schools and/or private practice to their teaching roles.  

Our collective expertise is unique and offers our candidates a diverse range of support, enabling them to build skills and knowledge spanning from research, clinical and assessment skill development to real-world practice.

These professionals serve as marriage and family therapists, school psychologists, administrators, and/or licensed educational psychologists.
